Nancy really is a master storyteller! This book had me hooked from the first sentence! I love how all the characters have flaws and struggles like we all do. You feel like you are part of the story. I would recommend this book to anyone
River and Tony visit his mom and dad to help his dad investigate a really strange case that has gone cold. This murderer is smart because he’s hidden in plain sight. He also has several weird rituals that he does after each murder that baffles them. Sometimes we make things hard because the obvious seems too easy to believe. Can they find where this guy is hiding before it’s too late…. Will these weird rituals help lead them to this evil person or will they be dead ends?
River is still dealing with a situation that almost took her and Tony’s life. Tony’s sister has her own issues with the situation. River has recently become a Christian and Tony has helped her a lot. She knows God has forgiven her for her sins, but she still has doubts like we all do. Sometimes we think we are too far gone for God to love and forgive us, but our way back to Christ is always one step. Will River ever accept God’s love and will Tony’s sister deal with the situation before it destroys her?
